I don't remember how I first found out about Demonoid exactly. I think I was using random sites I found on Google or through forum link freefalls. I remember hearing about Demonoid's closed off community and how high quality the content on the site was due to the nature of the community. Registration was closed and I checked back every Friday until it finally came up and I registered for an account.

Demonoid was the only site I trusted. I really loved how reliable the community was and how often I would find something there that I couldn't find anywhere else. I didn't upload many torrents, but I found a few niche bands that had cult followings but no torrents. As a user and a contributor, I really miss Demonoid. There was just something about that site. It really was family. It was my secret place that nobody could get in to without an invitation, and it never let me down.

I waited through the long periods of downtime and stayed loyal because I didn't trust any other site. Now here we are in 2013 with what looks like the end. I hope one day it comes back. But I'm not crossing my fingers this time. I think it's over, guys.
