The app can do nothing at all until it is launched. So it “pushes” an advert or even (ZOMG!) something malevolent onto your device. What then?

Anyone can go there and verify it for themselves.

Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials both give the installer and all the files in the installation folder a clean bill of health.

I believe you will find that any AV or malware detection app will give the same results.
