I’m confused by Tuteur’s actions. Why not just take a picture of your own middle finger. You see, using the original from C-C is a statement of sorts. I suppose it’s giving you a “dose of your own” or perhaps it was commentary.
Fair use does need to be taken into consideration.
How much of the middle finger was used?!!
What was the purpose of the use?? Did C-C lose any financial status based on the use?
I’m sorry, I just can’t stop laughing….

my response is that it is proven in court that sites such as Google are not required to check the whole internet for infringing content that would be YOUR job.. its the law after all ;)
They choose not to as you said because they are not *required to !
Google is search engine not the copyright police.
And your second point is the law ? What like the law i just mentioned ? I guess its ok to follow the laws you want and disregard the rest eh ? lol

I swear the law also includes that your committing perjury if you submit a flase notice. Like i dont know when MS demands Ubuntu be removed from the net.

But no one on the MAFIAA side wants to see that part of the law policed. With the massive number of false takedowns that could really hurt

Typhoid Mary, that would be illegal and illegitimate because torrent sites do NOT, by and large, police torrent uploads.

Plus, in many countries, torrenting is legal for upload AND download so you have to take into account which country the website in question is based in.
