And artists makes nothing from spotify. Spotify is the worst that couldve happen to indie musicians as they now make nothing LEGALLY. And if youre not well known people wont listen to you if youre not on stupify as noone bothers with mp3′s anymore. I as a member of a band that has sold at most 1000 records see great potential with megabox. We are on spotify but id rather see us not being there.

Except Kim actually helped people. One of my NZ friends was homeless man… until Kim helped him (bought small apartment for him and hired in MU). That was 6 months before raid. So he is not serving himself, he is also serving other people.

I think it may be like all ad money that corresponds to download would go into artist’s account – MegaBox share.

I imagine that they’ll make system that would track which song user downloads (if megakey used) and then assign appropriate money to artist’s account.
Such system wouldn’t be even hard to write (from programmer’s standpoint). I think it’d be few hours at most.

And with bought music it’d be simple: any money earned by specified song – MB share.
