Well , heres a FACT .

EZTV share other peoples torrents.. (MVGroup)

AND YES it is a FiLTER of sorts.

OF ALL the TV shows released (even by scene) EZTV “”Chooses / filters”” the shows to release torrents for.

And they only upload a pittyfull amount of the actuall releases.

EZTV strongly favors scene releases, this is a good thing as the scene have verified tags and standards and a good distribution system, still on occasion EZTV will do P2P if no scene release will come. (P2P is a mixed bag)

“scene” is ALSO a mixed bag.

the encoding software they use is the same that nonScene encoders use ,
The encoding settings used by scene are the basic default settings in 99% of encoding software.

So the argument that “scene” rips/encodes are better is old and not even relevant anymore.

As far as distibution.. lol .

TORRENT is a distribution system. So your argument actually is.. HOW the content is captured and initially uploaded.

IF EZTV had a dedicated team of users who CAP/Encode/upload torrents then it would put the scene to shame.

BUT the only people who surround NovaKing are “”yes men””.

IF I argue with that , then I DON’T fit in.

So the only way to “”chip in “” is to download scene releases (from a SELECT few), unrar und upload a torrent.
OR
I could troll the forums , telling people “”NO we are not adding anymore shows””

That’s about the depth of involvement ALLOWED at the minute , has been like that for years.

MY encodes have been posted on EZTV lot’s of times.
More than 100 !

As I stated , I am a member of MVGroup , and have released torrents there for years.
Most of , if not all of them have ended up on EZTV.
I am not in the “scene” But my encodes are good .

YET , the amount of great shows NOT listed grows @ EZTV due to Group narcissism.

EZTV does miss the odd ep and could carry a larger show list, but does pretty well, it has fewer people running it and is not setup like most other sites.

EZTV might not be first or carry everything, but it has no close match, but it is good that it isn’t perfect as it allows for what others to have a shot, if EZTV was perfect there would be no backup.

In short EZTV doesn’t smother the competition.

EZTV is very unique by being 100% volunteer based, even Novaking is just a volunteer who has done an incredible job of leading and supporting EZTV (and paying costs).

So if you want to be a part of EZTV too, then support and chip in.

But while I appreciate you may want EZTV to be more, please put more effort into appreciating what it does achieve at everyones time, money and risk for no reason but the will to contribute.

EZTV provides a great service for the normal people in the universe. I personally couldn’t care less if a program I like doesn’t show up until the next day. I am still watching series from last season. It is not as if your typical TV show is so time based that it must be seen right NOW or the world will come to an end.

I have VALiD reasons to dislike the site. (as i stated)

NO user has the power to add content.
ONLY NovaKing ‘n’ CO. decides what is there.

EVEN when users BEG in the forum thread , for shows to be added to the list… They get ignored or told the same old bullshit story.
