Megaupload was JUST an upload service. It was up to the user what content they wanted to add, not the service provider. So I am wondering when youtube and microsoft email will be taken down?

Why? There is a far larger collection of full hollywood movies uploaded by users every day than what youtube allows you to rent out legally, not to mention entire tv shows and albums. Uploaded material can even be of better quality too than the official output, lol. I noticed the last james bond film was on there in HD for a few days before it got taken down. Many other movies are on there for months, even years. All you need to do is search – and when will email companies get taken down because some of its weird users may likely be sending and sharing indecent images or copyrighted material to one another? The list goes on.

I am guessing part of the problem may lie with so many of the last generation (or before it) still working within law. They havent a clue about the latest technology and the future of media.

haha, you talk about artists, you do know that the artists or creators are not the ones suing him for copyright infringement they could care less, its their publishers and producers who care and they are just as much parasites on the artists as Kim is and the best example or at lest the most fitting one since he’s also from New Zealand, is Peter Jackson when he sued Universal because they where keeping royalties and other monetary dues and they blamed piracy, later that year when they issued their revenue reports and gross lists and showed they had made more money that year then any year before that he saw that they had been lying and sued the shit out of them.
