ah…I believe that it was all of europe who begged the US to help them out of being overpowered by germany in WW I oh…and then WW II as well. You all loud Churchill as this great leader and master, yet, without the US involvement, the UK would most certainly have fallen in WW II. Oh.and by the way…if not for the shameful manner in which the UK handled it’s colonies in the first place, the world would not have ever had to worry about a US…huh…?

I am a US citizen and am outraged by the US governments affront to my rights both humanely and constitutionally. This is supposed to be a democracy ..and is supposed to allow the people to decide what is best for them. It is NOT supposed to be driven by tax revenues, or business interests..or the need to try to find new government funding sources..we are all big boys and girls and we are supposed to be able to judge for ourselves what we should be able to do of our own free will. We do not need protecting in this manner…we do not want the intrusion into our private lives. I must also mention that the US government is swinging a leg over each side of the fence here. They are not only OK with land and water-based gambling, as well as lotteries, but they in fact promote them with tax-payer’s money. How they can then ask more tax funding of the people is hypocritical at least, and shameful at the most. When this government stopped representing the common man, and fell into bed with big business and industrialists, we, as a people, lost our rights to a democratic way of life. It appears that we are at the threshold of, at minimum, a socialist big brother government and appear way past having any means to affect a change. We, as a people, have become lazy, fat, and stupid where our government is concerned. We don’t vote, we don’t express our opinions, we don’t educate ourselves about our candidates or national and world events…hell..we don’t even complain loudly anymore when our rights are trampled and our interests subverted.
You are correct in this, the experiment that was and is America, has proven too difficult to overcome the evils of greed and power….but let the world be aware of this one glaring problem that makes this a world problem and not just a US one: ask yourself this question; who will come to the aid of the world when a crisis hits? This country has funded relieve efforts since President Woodrow Wilson aided us in the great depression and has stood by the world causes like no other can or would. Who will pick up the next Japan-like crisis when and if we do fold? What other country in the world has contributed so much to the humanitarian causes in this world?

By 2009, they had shut down many fraudulent bank accounts used by the poker companies. Two of the defendants later came up with a scheme to persuade the principals of a few small, struggling banks to process payments in return for multi-million investments So as you see they KNEW they we breaking the law
