I know what you mean, the UK law is fucking stupid, although unrelated it’s a good example of how retarded it is. in many cases you can actually get equal or even more jail time if you do something that could ‘potentially injure someone’ than you would if you actually killed someone

I can sometimes get music from Soundcloud before it’s officially released for free and I don’t have to pirate a thing. The only time I actually buy music these days is when I want the latest tracks to mix in Traktor(DJ software). It’s these legal streaming services that seem to have a greater effect on deterring piracy than any crack team(or shoddy team in ACS Law’s case) of lawyers and threats of prosecution. I never want for music, and I never have to listen to any crap from the major labels or be forced to watch some crappy advert.

Depends what she is sharing; grandma terrorist would be more dangerous then the ‘he hit me’ courtroom appearance after a barroom brawl; whereas sharing …um… copyright material would be rather harmless (completely harmless in the case of legal sharing such as DVDs being physically shared etc.).
