Good notice, but be aware about the EU-Colombia-Peru FTA that will be ratified this Tuesday (one week before final ACTA votation). Some of their articles like the Article 254 that i noticed before are serious threats against privacy.

Some of them are. Many older people like my parents are looking at this with the “Why the fuck do we need these laws?”

It’s just that the elected officials aren’t even listening to them anymore, but only the people who give them money. Only solution, as I have said before: GET RID OF LOBBYING!
Make giving any money or gifts or even talking to public officials by corporations/organizations unless it is done in a RECORDED AND TELEVISED manner illegal.

Actually, I have to point this out again: The way that ACTA is written, unless ALL parties sign it, NONE can. It’s like the law burst into flames if one country refuses to sign it.
