Yes, I experienced the same thing, it appears that they limit you (free user) to only 3 downloads per 24h, per IP. And that’s pretty crappy.
Another free web-based usenet provider is http://www.usegrab.com , which offers bigger DLs (up to 1gb), the speed is about 5mbps as well (you can have 3 parallel downloads, resulting in 1.5-2MB/s speed), but it’s unlimited in the number of downloads per day. Unfortunately, it easily gets overloaded, so sometimes you have to wait for your links for hours :(. Anyways, when it’s not overloaded, it’s a very good service for it’s price (free :)).

Split up the file I wanted into <500MB chunks, got 3 of them, trying to get the 4th I get "You have reached the cap limit for your account type." Can't find anywhere which 'cap' the message is refering to… it's <500MB and I'm not downloading anything else.

thankfully my ISP offers usenet for free. The download cap is roughly the same as this service, but the file size can be anything.

Just tried it to download a TV show followed all instructions just keep getting the There was a problem with the .nzb file you provided. Please try another nzb,message in the meantime I downloaded as I usually do from Eztv and Utorrent,finished in 4 minutes while still trying Usenetstorm.

Cool, more options are always good and there’s stuff I can’t get on torrents unless I joined some private tracker which would be harder than this usenet option. Hope it lasts. .com is very bad indeed but they could change it when there’s an issue.
