To get HBO, you have to start paying for cable, which includes over 100 channels of useless shit. Fuck that shit. I want to watch my beloved shwos when I want to, and every DVR I’ve seen where i live gives a really shitty-quality, heavily compressed copy. Downloads ALWAYS look better.

If I coudl pay for ONLY the better metworks/channle, or stream them, I’d do it in a second.
But no, we’re forced to pay for horseshit in my country, so downloading is the answer.

Totally right, I’ve thought this for a while. They’re losing shitloads of money because they can’t evolve with the market – I’d happily pay a REASONABLE amount to watch a show like Game of Thrones but there’s no way that I’m getting any form of TV subscription.
