It’s time for Google to throw it’s weight around a bit, and scratch off these leeches and ticks. If they’re left free to attack and harass at will, even Google may eventually regret not having dealt with them. Every takedown erodes Google’s legitimacy as the World’s primary search engine. Even with diversifying to other enterprises, that role can’t be replaced by any amount of advertizing.

Google may have lost sight of it, but information freedom is in their interest, and their most valuable market segment are those who also favor information freedom.

“Piracy often arises when consumer demand goes unmet by legitimate supply. As services ranging from Netflix to Spotify to iTunes have demonstrated, the best way to combat piracy is with better and more convenient legitimate services,” (Google) previously explained. “The right combination of price, convenience, and inventory will do far more to reduce piracy than enforcement can.’

…that is utter and complete bull crap, and merely a series of lame excuses to allow or to justify STEALING. For example, e-books are cheaply priced, available on dozens of different high-profile websites including Amazon which is perhaps the world’s number one largest and most accessible retail site, have an endless inventory since they are electronic, and yet they are pirated and stolen by the (electronic) truck-load every single day. So each one of your lame excuses is instantly shown to be meaningless.
