Hey guys, that’s some discussion here. :-)

1) Thanks TF for reporting this, BREIN bullying should be exposed as much as possible.

2) We have proper DMCA procedures – content is removed on first notice, normally in several hours.

Each month we remove about 5-6 thousands torrents because of DMCA notices.

This does not means we believe in imaginary property – these are corporate laws and we’re forced to comply.

3) Mr. Kuik’s words are pure hypocricy and spin-doctoring, to rephrase him: “Destroy all that you’ve built – or I’ll shoot you in the head. No, this is not a threat, just informing you of the consequences.”.

Well, he was caught before, nothing new.

We’ve spend A LOT of effort making Bitsnoop what it is now. We generally like what it has became, and we like that our users like it. :-)

And no bunch of RIAA-funded copyfags is going to stop it.

P.S. As for fake torrents – we try to fight them as much as we can.

If torrent is “Verified” it means it came from a reputable source, so it is OK with 99.9% probability.

On average we add 20-30 THOUSANDS of torrents DAILY – it is not possible to check every one of them manually, although we try.
