It is not hard.

Fuck Anderson, he gets paid.

As much as I would like to join in this parade, I do believe that rain is in the forecast. A personal experience comes to mind in this regard:

My first trip to Yosemite National Park was on a moonless night
and my wife and I found ourselves in what was like a caravan of perhaps a
hundred cars, all racing at breakneck speed up the outer lane of a winding
mountain road like a huge string of Christmas lights, each car trying
desperately to keep up with the car ahead because the lighting was so poor. We
had no concerns about this until we left the park by daylight, only to realize
– to our horror – that there were absolutely no guardrails all along
this route – literally nothing
between us and several thousand feet of sheer cliffs. My wife was so terrified
by this realization that she spent the entire downhill trip crouched in a fetal
position under the dashboard, scared out of her wits.

My point? Ignorance is bliss. The hard core truth is that the
Internet has become one of the greatest threats to our personal and national
security and Homeland Security has come to recognize that fact. Of course there
are concerns about freedom of speech and government infringements but when
critical Internet services become crippled, Internet commerce grinds to a halt,
and increasingly nasty computer viruses, spyware, and hacking tools invade our
homes, steal our personal information, empty our bank accounts, and otherwise
destroy our blatantly naïve false sense of security, the same people
that now complain about the “guardrails” infringing on their freedoms will
inevitably raise complaint that the government didn’t do enough to protect
its citizenry and the very infrastructure of our free society.
