I am contacting you on behalf of the Recording Industry Association of
America, Inc. (RIAA).  The RIAA is a trade association whose member
companies create, manufacture, and distribute sound recordings
representing the great majority of all legitimate recorded music
consumption in the United States, including many of the most popular
sound recordings in the world.  RIAA members include UMG Recordings,
Inc., Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group Corp., their
affiliated record labels and subsidiaries.  The RIAA is authorized to
act on behalf of its member companies on matters involving the
infringement of their trademarks.

It has come to our attention that Opensea is operating an online
marketplace where users can buy and sell Ethereum Name Service (ENS)
domain names.  The registered trademarks listed below are owned by our
member companies or the RIAA.  The ENS domain names listed below
infringe RIAA’s or our members’ trademarks, as they cause dilution,
confusion, and/or tarnishment of these trademarks.  See 15 U.S.C. §
114.  The sale of these ENS domain names is also actionable under the
Lanham Act, see 15 U.S.C. §§ 1125(a) and (d).  In addition, the sale
of ENS domain names that contain the names of executives at RIAA or
our member companies violates the AntiCybersquatting Consumer
Protection Act, see 15 U.S.C. § 8131.  The sale of the ENS domain
names also violates state and common law rights of publicity and
unfair trade practices, see, e.g., Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200.

Our member companies which own these intellectual property rights have
authorized RIAA to act on their behalf in this matter, as have the
executives at RIAA and our member companies whose names are listed
below.  I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information
contained in this notification is, to the best of my knowledge,
accurate and that I am the agent of the owners of the rights described
above.

For the reasons set forth above, I ask that these URLs, and related
infringing products or services be removed from Opensea.io
immediately.

This notification does not constitute a waiver of any right to recover
damages incurred by virtue of any such unauthorized activities, and
such rights as well as claims for other relief are expressly retained.
