I don’t know about you, but I don’t carry around my CD player so I can listen to one artist. The whole reason mp3 players were invented is to make the whole process simpler and more compact. You SHOULD have to pay for music… its only fair to the artist, but the RIAA SHOULDNT cheat us out of our money.

Start with the Patriot Act, move on to a few hundred other pieces of legislation, then a few thousand executive orders, and void a couple dozen international treaties. At some point we’ll get down to the level of intellectual feudalism.

When someone demonstrates that America CAN change a law, merely because a large majority of the PUBLIC wants to (i.e. against the interests of corporations and capital), then I’ll take this argument seriously.
