Not really. Being that the icelandic sheep is indeed one of the oldest and purest breed of sheep there is ample reason to suspect attempts at man-sheep breeding has not taken place.

Something I believe had to do with the common practice of keeping serfs for that purpose instead in ancient times.

Some sticklers may say that men and sheep cannot truly interbreed but I personally think referring to comments made by pro-copyright trolls on this forum alone is enough to cast such a statement into serious doubt.

It is certainly possible however to set up a client-host partnership which does it’s damned best to ensure that the logs in question may be misleading and/or very hard to track. If your ISP bundles it’s traffic through a VPN in a neighboring nation then the difficulty of connecting the ip-adresses and login dates with an end-point client rises by an order of magnitude. Ensuring such data trawling will be performer only when it is deemed vital to invest the required resources.

That depends on the jurisdiction involved. Most civilized countries rather have a stipulation setting an upper time limit on how long logs may be kept, simply in the interest of protecting fully legitimate clients from being investigated over political opinions and other vital freedom-of-speech issues.

The Intellectual Property business would dearly like to see all such civil rights abolished, of course, as the same laws which protect government dissidents also protects filesharers.
