Anyway, I’m referring to what changing your name to “Dotcom” says about the state of ones mind. It’s just one of many indicators.

And yes, I do have a clear grasp of the story. I’m been following every last detail. I have no gripes against him, have used his site, and am anti a lot of the current legislation that is being pushed. In terms that you perhaps would understand, I am basically on your side.

But I know exactly what his site was predominantly used for because I used to use it myself – and while there were indeed “genuine users out there that have suffered” blah, blah, blah, the main bulk of his business was illegal file-sharing. You can say whatever you like and defend him equally – that’s what it was. Anyone who used that site on a regular basis knows that and the majority of people that have suffered are people that pirate. What gets my goat is people that lose that “right”, as they see it, and then start jumping on the “free-speech” bandwagon. They lose access to their “free” software and then start claiming that they support this, that and the other.
