I’m not normally pedantic about grammar, but in this case the poster understood exactly the opposite of what the article’s writer meant. That is why I felt the need to explain some basic grammar rules to him. It would be quite dangerous, don’t you think, if some people understood the message on, say, a detergent “Do not ingest! Highly toxic” as “Please, eat me”!
