Well enough and perfectly sensible (as usual).

You should be a “Guest Commentator” on TorrentFreak or elsewhere then.

Your writing and explanations are good enough to enjoy an audience outside of a comments section.

As a Guest writer, you could choose to write only about those things of which you have an expertise or that lie closest to your heart.

Give it some thought — I think a lot of people would appreciate your input on a lot of things.

The key to breaking down a lie so established it’s become taken for granted is nothing more than patiently repeating the same arguments time and time again. And again.

Especially so since the rhetoric of the opposition keeps trying to move the venue of discourse to something quite irrelevant to the core issues.

Makes you feel like a math teacher at times, somehow having to keep iterating that no matter the perspective, 2+2 will equal 4.

Heh, I’m flattered. I’ve thought about running a blog, but it’s a question of resources, effectivity and suitability.
There is little use in opening new forums past redundancy limits, especially so since people such as Falkvinge, Lexi Alexander, the TF crowd, and quite a few others already run forums where any problem or issue relating to copyright visavi modern technology is debated extensively and at length. And I do give input in swedish forums as well.

Since so many such forums already exist, opening yet one more would simply be to split the audience and do very little other than providing me personally with a megaphone in a closed room.

And that’s not too good, especially since the first five years I spent administrating databases provided me a habit of not suffering fools gladly which is hard to shake. As a moderator I’d run a risk of being too heavy-handed.

I find my spare time is better spent doing what I do best – noticing a flawed argument or method and pointing out just why what has been stated simply isn’t so.

But as I said, I’m happy to see my contributions are well received. :)

MGI is an interesting prospect, especially since it’s mainly been pushed by the far right. The idea that every citizen has a stake in the nation and is being paid a dividend of that neatly does away with the government being a subsidy machine.

Which is why the left hates the idea. It removes the very concept of massive government from many areas of daily life.

Interestingly, even in the US I doubt most people are really aware to what extent they are being subsidized directly or indirectly anyway.

And how will you know? You don’t, unless you think we should be opening all letters, and checking content, just in case you feel you have a problem, and that your entitlement isn’t being rewarded.
