A. spend hundreds of millions putting together a brilliant movie.
B. find brilliant writers, directors and actors willing to work ‘for the experience’ and lower pay, to drive costs down to a couple hundred thousand.
C. Give a retarded swamp..thing a camera and direct them to film something for payment of meat, copyright that something, then sue anybody who finds the idea of a ‘movie’ filmed by a swamp…thing interesting.

I’m in Canada and use Tek Savvy. It’s “meh” service and speeds, but in Canada there are basically no ISP options other than the big 3 that also do phone and cable (Rogers, Bell, Telus). If you’re in the U.S., try to imagine literally only having 3 companies you could get a phone/cable tv/internet connection from. Fucked up, eh? The reason why is because Canada still has like zero online infrastructure. Rogers, Bell, and Telus literally own 100% of the country’s bandwidth and the very few small ISPs like Tek Savvy lease bandwidth from them. It’s really pathetic.

The Liberals copied DCMA in 2000 and this law is really nothing compared to other countries and every case, even the last one with Voltage Pictures was thrown out of court and they even used the same law group to do this.

At the time they had a Majority government and under the old rules these people could take you for about $100,000 for non commercial use so up to$100- $5000 is nothing. IN 2000, the Liberal government did copy DCMA and it only died as a result of the Supreme Court of Canada viewing it as no different from a photo copy. Also secondly, current law came out as a all party input. The only thing media companies got was Digital locks. Also every single case that happened in the past was thrown out of court for the waste time and Voltage Pictures failed the last time by this law group bring the case.
