The home video cam, high school acting club approach to production approach to production has never appealed to me in any way. I cannot comment on the plot or writing, since I could not stomach more than 2 or 3 minutes of this.

People who raved about Cloverfield will love this.

As far as the show goes the first episode was interesting and I liked the main characters. The small flaws you notice here and there is not so big as to detract from the show but I wish it was a little more polished. That said I think for this kind of “torrent” show it should have a more international focus and not be so Americanized as torrent is really a much larger audience than just the US. You have to consider you popularity worldwide now, if this works out and becomes more common it is my hope that we will get a more globally structured entertainment form. Perhaps joint efforts from many nations to create future entertainment for a global audience. Such an entertainment form could even strengthen the global community and help people get accustomed to the fact that people really aren’t that different whether your American, European, Asian, Arab, African or anything in between. Something that could cross beyond governments, faiths and social indoctrinations and prepare humanity for the inevitable global government the future surely holds.

But this has to be the worst thing I’ve ever tried to watch. I guess there is a reason why these producers, etc. can’t find ‘legit’ or ‘mainstream’ distribution; their content is terrible.

I do, however, hope that the ambition surrounding this project is inspiration to all and that more people take advantage of the powerful distribution platform that is p2p.
