I am frustrated with Netflix for streaming good movies. tThey used to be the service for films and Amazon for TV episodes, but at this point I absolutely never can find films on Netflix to stream. I am not interested in the hassle of DVD rentals anymore. Just today I searched for Summer Hours, a 2008 French film, and it is not available on Netflix, at least for streaming. Why?? Can anyone direct me on where to stream good films? I have Apple TV so can’t use Amazon, but maybe I have to change the hardware so I can.

Netflix is awful. All the “legal” sources are awful. I imagine it’s the studios’ fault.

My 5 year old nephew bless him can’t understand why you just can’t watch a movie when it’s released at the cinema. If a 5 year old can figure out what the studios/publishers are doing wrong and they still can’t we have serious issue.

Exactly. They need to make the content available. Otherwise it’s just as easy to go download it off of TPB. I know a couple of TV series that are not out on home video that there are bootlegged versions of; and it’s exactly the fault of rightsholders being dicks about it.
