It seems the coppers couldn’t take moviex down but the staff of MovieX is doing what the cops couldn’t do.

Seems there is some sort of power struggle among MovieX and all their top uploaders have jumped ship and made a new site. They have been removing all their posts.

Unknown if the new site is a pirate site or not but 50% of the staff have left or in the midst of leaving it seems and there is daily fights on the MovieX forums.

Apparently (lol) all the MovieX peeps who said the TF story was fake are eating crow now. Seems it is posted in the VIP forums the TRUTH that the Rama brothers were in fact arrested and another admin (devo) is running the smoke show (website)

Why lie when you know the truth is out there.

You have to consider the size of the files you were uploading and downloading also. In other words, if you DL a 700MB file and have a share ration of 2:1 for that file, but DL a 4GB file, and only have a 1:2 ratio, then your overall ratio is only 3:4.
As for everyone who is bitching about paying for VIP on MovieX, I pay $17 for 5 months. That works out to $3.20/mo. I think that is more than fair to pay for what I get with access to RapidShare and Netload accts, not having to worry about fake files, torrents stuck on 70%, old links that no longer exist, and people uploading crappy versions and passing them off as DVD rips or screeners!
What I also get is the ability to requests specific files that are hard or impossible to find elsewhere, and not having to worry bc my IP/modem seem to have difficulty with uploading content. With VIP, I’ve never had the problem of my modem shutting down bc my IP wants to limit bandwidth (even though they swear they don’t!)

@137 read my post before accusing me of meing a moron. With MovieX my real ratio didnt show what it actualy was on their site. I had a 100% upload on one torrent but it only showed 50% upload. So no their sites tracker doesnt work flawlessly.

Also I am a member of another private torrent site which their system works flawlessly and shows what my upload ratio is properly. I have a 165% upload on one of my torrents thene and the second torrent I downloaded from there has a 125% upload which shows as 166% up and 125% up.

On another account I had with Movie X I had a 80% upload after 3 days but their site showed 69% uploaded and I got banned after 24 hours but I kept my upload going but my ratio never went any higher than 69%

Also this news news item goes to show how disrespectful some of the other MovieX people are. some are nice guys but most are abusive just like yourself. You just gotta learn not to post nothing but thanks in a forum post/

So I will be happy to see them shut down. Theyre nothing but abusive Leechers.

You should have capitalized “English” in that sentence.

As for “you’ve got”, it’s an example of the present conditional tense which, although uncommon in English is not grammatically improper.

JustCause their seed system works perfectly fine, if you are an idiot and can’t maintain a 1:1 then you deserve to get banned.

They aren’t a hit and run site, which clearly is something you are looking for. So go back to tpb or some other crap.
