I said “popular’ does not equal infringing” which is true.

Because i think theres a few myths around,

1: The idea that rapidshare had of limiting download speeds for ALL users in order to reduce copyright infringement. (That tactic reduces speeds for all files and all users, not the infringing files and users like it was supposed too)

and 2. the mpaa claiming that file lockers pay users to upload infringing files. when really they just pay them for popular files.

If the Maffia were to have said that filelockers pay users to upload popular files and quite often these popular files were infringing content. then i would have understood what they meant. Otherwise they are just lying and hoping the judge doesn’t notice…

“So what is popular enough for someone to pay for that qualifies?” Go find that out for your self, i just said that popular’ doesn’t equal infringing…
