Oh please, whenever I’m looking for something I almost always see a “file removed” message if the link goes to Hotfile (they are probably one of the most diligent of the larger file-sharing services that take down infringing content).

That was an excellent analysis of Anon. If anything, I pity him. People with the same mindset have been trying to control what the populace does since before the printing press was invented. And just like with the printing press, they’ve unsuccessfully attempted to control and/or prevent every single technological advancement of a similar nature since then. Yes, they’ve failed with every single one of them and it completely boggles my mind that they believe they’d have even the remotest chance at succeeding where computers are concerned. Even if they could somehow turn off the internet for everyone at once, people would continue to share in other ways just as they always have since the dawn of time. So in the grand scheme of it all, have they truly “won” anything here at all, or is it just another delusion among the many they’ve suffered over the centuries? I vote the latter, especially considering the vast amounts of money they keep wasting for nothing. Talk about the definition of insanity lol.
