It’s NOT EMI’s software to have copyrights on.

There can be no violation from the Mielophone software because:
1. Software cannot violate anyones copyright on its own (like printer IP addresses)
2. They don’t own the copyright to the software, the developers do.
3. (Retarded) US law doesn’t apply in Russia

If the above wouldn’t apply then the following issues still apply:
1. It doesn’t actively seek any EMI music in particular
2. It isn’t by itself initiating, seeking out and downloading (a) EMI track(s).
3. It is not trying to hack, crack or break any security like DRM, EMI servers to reproduce their media.

If Mielophone software is guilty of infringement then Google, all ISPs, every network device, harddisk, USB stick, OS and mediaplayer and much much more things are infringing because they allow people to copy music. EMI would be able to send a message to where the source of the problem is produced and if they comply EMI will never receive the reply. The source: electricity.
