The reason Google does NOT remove these Torrent URLs is simple: Google needs ($$$$$$$$) that enormous volume of visitors to Google so it can continue charging Fees ($$$$$$$) for placing ADS on its pages :-) It’s always about $$$$$

Treat Google as an escalation. Send notice to the crook, then to host. Threaten host with Google if necessary.

In parallel, use complaints forms to AdSense, Amazon etc if the crook is carrying adverts.

When coming across the dmca complaints during a google search it is a treasure trove of links to the file you are looking for. I was searching for a 3ds max tutorial from Lynda(dot)com, in the 1st page of google results were several dmca notices. If you click on 1 of them you will see the list of infringing links, about 1,000 of them on the single dmca notice. Copy the link from the dmca notice, paste it into a new tab and you are there.

In my opinion, the dmca notices actually help the pirates. The content company has done major research looking for all of the pertinent links and collected them in a neat and orderly manner on a single page. Thanks for doing the legwork for me rather than having to sift through page after page of non-pertinent links. Much appreciated!!
