Justice was served. End of story! Maybe your place should’ve got raided instead and you should’ve been taken to prison and go through with the trial. You’d be singing a different song if that were the case.

Justice was served you muppet. If Alan was found guilty with what he was charged with then you could go after Google, Altavista, Ask and any other search engines and even YouTube.

Though these money grabbing leeches will be too scared to go after the likes of Google because they can afford the best lawyer in the business.

There is no UK law present to charge Alan with anything apart from charging him with conspiracy to defraud. Utter nonsense. Copyright infringement law does not exist for the digital medium yet. However the UK Gov’t are not far off from changing this due to pressure from the Industry.

You say your a filesharer, then if you shared a copyright material and you love the justice system, you want copyright infringers to be prosecuted, then I’d say hand yourself over to the police and pay the copyrights holder 50K for each infringement. Around 30-60K is usually their asking price for each infringement. So what you waiting for… Go on then. Didn’t think so!

I’m glad he did, but at the same time what does this say about the justice system? He was clearly guilty of the laws they were claiming he broke, call them draconic or whatever you want, but at the end of the day they are the laws even if I disagree with them they still need to be enforced. The evidence was overwhelming and he walked free, great for P2P, but pathetic for the justice system.

You guys don’t seem to really that Ellis also ripped off his members of lots and lots of money via donations.
That isn’t as cool huh.

I am pro torrenting and other p2p, but I am certainly not for private trackers that steal tons of money from its users.

P2p should be free, of course aside from enough money to keep the website/tracker up if needed, but he made £18,000 a month, that is pure theft.
