I wonder how American Eagle feels after paying out the ass for that billboard space in exchange for the rights to a song from a band who used that billboard space to promote song theft.

Their ad offers several options, all of which refer to sharing as
“piracy”. I’d like to answer, “Piracy is attacking ships”.

Where piracy occurs, the navy should suppress it. As for sharing,
sharing is good and should be legal. Meanwhile, authorized Internet
music distribution needs to be more than just convenient: it needs to
respect listeners’ freedom as much as a physical disk does.

Actually, Apple doesn’t make anything, its just “nice hardware to order”, others could make basically the same device. Differences are mostly going to be based on political agreements (exclusivitiy etc). Any bespoke made chips are just going to be based on something else anyway.

I don’t think there are many people that say the hardware is actually shit though? It is good, software and the company is crap.
