======= How sharing music is no different then planting seeds =======

(This example is a work of fiction, but you'll get the point...)

I loooove sunflower seeds! They taste so good! But they cost a bit much for something that was just plucked from a flower and packaged for sale...

So that got me to thinking...what if I just decided to purchase a package and plant them outside so I could have as many seeds as I wanted later! Awesome idea!

So a few weeks later I had plenty of sunflower seeds picked and in a bowl for consumption. All was going well until...

...the sunflower seed company came knocking on my door. Apparently, they believed that each and every seed that was 'copied' was their property and I should have to pay for them.

The first things to come to mind were...

1) I already purchased the original package of seeds! Anything created from those seeds would actually be MY property, as the company didn't create those.

2) To contradict both claims of ownership, no one truthfully can own a seed created my the earth... :3 Just no one can truthfully OWN words spoken/sung out loud. Music was and always has been a medium for anyone to hear. Anyone wishing to only sing for profit are dicksucking emo hipster dipshits who need to swallow glass if they wish for people to stop 'infringing on their work'.

A digital file is a seed that had already been paid for in order for the ability to even be duplicated...profit was made by the original company. A copy of that digital seed is a new un-owned creation...no cost was paid to create that and any further copies, nor can the original creator claim those copies as their property. Finally, if you don't want people to hear your voice for free....shut your fucking mouth or sing in the shower with soundproofing installed.
