While you are thinking about that, please point out where exactly in the article above the author condemns the practice of screwing over n00bies. You see when I read it, I find statements like this:

If there’s any praise to the thing in the article you can call it SARCASM. I recommend a good dictionary if you have issues with the word.

As for the comments such as “A fool and his money are easily parted. No sympathy.” I fully agree with them because it just takes 1 or 2 neurons to type in a search in Google to read good articles about file sharing and the mentioned programs. And you can always ask ppl about said companies. So yes, the scammed ppl do have part of the guilt. Which doesn’t mean we can’t help educate n00bs or that something shouldn’t be done about those sites. I’d say something MUST be done.

I’ve seen quite a few comments against this sort of scheme and I didn’t have to put effort in it. They are here. It seems that when the others said you fail at reading the article they forgot to add you fail at reading the comments too.

But it is some humans nature to be that easily scammed as there even exist people who pay a potential employer “costs” to possibly get a job while nothing like that will ever happen.
