Didn't the government just take trillions of dollars of our own money and you people defend online media as the culprit. Digital downloads can never be regulated...I'm not going to waste any time arguing because every one here is trying to release some type of opinion that isn't worth anything to anybody, humans we all love our selves....and no body else, we all think we're superior.....you are and will never be better than anyone else, the pirate is the hard working man and vice versa.
If I could download my dinner, I would! Wouldn't you?
3-4 clicks and you can either (A) pay for some software, or (B) download it for free. Either route you take, the software/music/movie will be the same. What you gonna do? I know what I do!

To Andrew Lee,

No, lending a tool is not the same thing. The difference is that when you lend something to someone, you give them *PERMISSION* to take said tool (permission being the key word, which basically means that hypothetically, if you can prove you were given permission to download a given software, you'd be in the clear.)

To Chuck,

NEWS FLASH: Under most statutes, the meaning of stealing is simple: If you didn't pay for it, it's stealing - whether it's a piece of bubble gum, a can of soda, a software, or a Mercedes. The only difference is a matter of whether you go down for petty theft (theft of property whose value is less than $500), grand theft (theft of property whose value is more than $500), burglary (theft by breaking into something), or robbery (theft involving the use of force.)

Nice attempt at comparing one extreme with another though. ;)

Eh? I ALWAYS get at LEAST 1.4MB/sec from TPB. Either find yourself a better torrent, or a better ISP. :P

on another note.... i like alot of old games....alot of those old games such as Ultima 7 and stuff from the DOS days can not be found in a Bestbuy or Target or EA games. i like old stuff and if i can get it for free and not risk getting screwed over on Ebay ill take that option. besides im in canada its not as strict here. and.... yeah why make a big deal out of this. rapidshare will lose business and pull their heads out of their arse in due time. meanwhile we can easily find alternatives. honestly even when rapidshare first came out they were crap anyways i always prefered Mediafire theyre reliable enough and if they go down i guess ill have to get them by other means. and if you disagree with me i openly chalange you to go out and find the good old games that were made with care and attention to detail. and you tell me you can find a decent game now adays like before and at a reasonable price. shits expensive the economy is in the toilet and im sure like alot of people we have other things we would rather spend money on than line some greedy bastards wallet so he can buy another bently. im tired of paying 50-70 bucks for crap then when i dont liek the game and try to take it back most stores have no other decent options. yeah i have a life i make 145'682$ a year and im not giving a cent to the corporations who profit off people stupid enough to let them do so. look at the cost of one trip to the movie theatre now compared to say.... 10 years ago. as the quality of movies went down due to horrible uneducated screenwriters and over CGed effects as well as alot of directors who need a swift kick in the ass. the whole world is going to shit. i personaly could care less what happens anymore if i can get something for free in one option vs paying for it ill take it. im sure alot fo people feel this way
