I also do not make a habit of grammatical corrections, that’s for certain. I assumed more that the user had responded to the wrong comment (happens more than you’d think on the Disqus platform), but I responded to them in the context that I was observing. I only pointed out the grammar so that (if indeed they had joined the wrong part of the thread) they would know why I said what I said.

That probably stemmed from me not connecting the question about the President with religious loonery, as the religious groups in the US tend to be quite opposed to the current administration — for all the wrong reasons. At least that’s how it’s been since the alliances came about which we refer to as the “religious right” in the United States.

I hope I don’t present things as if I know more than I actually do, I try to present only what I know.

And yes, ultimately this is a site and a news piece about piracy. I like piracy, it can help educate people far more than at any time in history and I just hope that people are using it for more than the latest album/TV show/movie. Nothing against that sort of media, but people should embrace the educational materials being made available free of cost for the first time in what is a remarkable time to be alive!

I’m glad individuals get something out of what I write. I only write the volume that I do to get feedback on (what is essentially) a concise version of things which are part of my now 80 page thesis paper about politics in the United States since Nixon. I write on many Web forums, and am currently establishing which sources provide the most feedback and argument (either in support or opposition to what I have to say).

I appreciate your feedback, I should have been more clear as to my intention when addressing the grammar of the post which did ultimately stem from my misinterpretation of the response.
