You make that sound so simple but my father doesn’t take no for an answer. Doesn’t matter to him what I believe in or my opinion towards faith. I’ve taken to just leaving church at the start of the service and going to the local park, returning just in time for the last hymn. I just say I’ve been helping in Children’s Church. I think the only reason that my dad makes me go is because if I don’t he has to sit by himself as my brother and mother both don’t go any more. He’s the only one who has ‘faith’ and it just pisses me off that he doesn’t care for my beliefs.
