What I REALLY want to know is HOW we can support the artists we love? I know with musicians its better to buy merchandise and go to concerts. But with directors, actors, etc — what can be done to more directly support work we love? I wish they would leave out virtual tip jars or something.

As your president said, Yes. We. Can. Just wait a few decades and see where America will be.

Now, to be honest, I’m more afraid of China taking over (as a big amount of the US is China’s property, according to the millions owed). In all honesty, we’re pretty bad with the US, but will be worse with China. It’s like a competition of which gets to be the closer to the bottom.

the problem is not that artists are idiots who cant read, problem is that there are no better options available, you either choose to get 1%-5% of something or you get nothing. Media companies have all the money all the contacts. And if that 1-5% is potentially millons of dollars, wouldnt you choose to get millions or get next to nothing.
