For instance, you were going off about voting. I merely said it’s a two party system. So you vote for one or the other, but at the end of the day it makes no difference. There was no whining in what I said whatsoever, implied or otherwise. I also DID NOT imply, nor flat out state, that the government structure as it is justifies piracy. You’re attempting to put words in my mouth. Which is amusing, because I’m always very explicit in what I’m saying or what I mean. So how you got whining or justification from that one little bit I wrote, I haven’t a clue.

Also, I DID NOT say I want something for nothing. Reread what I wrote. There’s nothing even remotely similar to that in there. Implied or otherwise. As I’ve told others, I don’t need to download. I buy the books and comics I like. I purchase the handful of albums by the handful of artists I really do like. For everything else music wise I either turn on the radio or check out Pandora. As for movies, I make an occasional trip once every 6 months with a friend. I don’t need to pay to see Hollywood’s blockbusters that badly, to be honest they don’t appeal to me. Remakes and reboots. Ha. No thanks, I’ll pass.. If I watch them at all, it’ll be when they air freely on cable/satellite. I purchase the random blu-ray or two per year, because I don’t care for most movies. In fact, most of those purchases are of old movies I had on dvd but lost. But I’ve got them DVR’ed on my satellite box, so I don’t often feel a need to buy them. Yet again, you’re making assumptions that I’m pirating stuff. I don’t. I do without.

Also, you obviously misunderstood the “you can’t prove I do this”. I was referring to you. We have only your “word” (as good for nothing as it is) that you don’t pirate anything and you’re a die hard RIAA/MPAA fanatic. The one who sounds like a 14 year old girl is yourself. Oh boohoo. Someone called you out. So you get riled up and try and insult people even more. Face it, your arguments tend to be weak. And your name calling only makes YOU look like a child. You can’t discuss things like an adult so you go playground on everyone.

Your argument is pretty moronic. “I haven’t found evidence, because there is none, so I’m right.” That’s you. So by default, people can take an opposing view and say I haven’t found evidence either, and that makes them right. By your own logic. It’s up to you to find evidence that proves them wrong.

And there’s a third ground, you ‘tard. It’s not just you support infringement or you don’t. There’s I don’t care. I don’t care what you or anyone does one way or another. It’s not my place to tell you what to do or not do. Everyone can decide for themselves. What I do make clear, in all my post though, is that I don’t approve of the methods used by the MPAA/RIAA. Their shoddy and error prone data gathering techniques. Their “guilty until proven innocent” mindset. Which they attempt to force others to believe. Their tactics of wanting to get everyone’s data just to find a handful of infringers. Their lobbying to have laws passed in their favor to save their dying industries. Their privacy invading. Etc. Those are things I don’t approve of. That doesn’t automatically mean I support copyright infringement. It just means I don’t like what the industries are doing. Trampling on people’s rights, innocent people’s rights, just to catch a few “criminals”. And I say it with ” ” because depending one where a person lives, what they do or do not do may or may not be a crime.

And like Trespass pointed out. The industries have done this song and dance before. He gave several examples. So why you keep saying none of this happened til Napster came on the scene is beyond me? You’re only further proving how ignorant you are of actual facts. Psh. Even before Napster, a year or two before, MP3tunes.com (I think that was the name) was under fire. Because it allowed people to store their music in the “cloud”. Except at the time it wasn’t called the cloud. It was just a digital locker. And the music labels were in an uproar over that. Check the dates, it’s easy to verify that that service was around right before Napster.

Seriously, get off your high horse. Have you ever sped? If so, that makes you a criminal. And speeding is way worse than downloading a song or movie. Why? Because speeding puts actual lives in danger. If you say you’ve never sped, you’re full of sh*t. Everyone has.
