With DMCA soluttions, we try our best to find these kinds of things that provide pirated copies to the public by taking them down and shutting their operations. Win8 Metro on a desktop is fucking shit, end of story.

And what good is Win8 over Win7 for a derp-user anyway? You can do everything and a half on a Win7 machine. Pop in an SSD and you won’t see a difference in real world scenarios. Really all it comes down to is compatibility issues (hence why older games run better on Win7).

All Win8 does is make Laptops and Tablets MORE EXPENSIVE. Try to find a good deal on hardware bundled with this shit. I dare you. Go to your local shop and ask for unbundled machines. No luck there, huh?#

Not true, do you work for Microsoft PR or something? I know this for a fact because Ars did an article on how Windows 8 secure boot was designed to prevent people installing Linux alongside Windows.

Actually, considering what Flash does, it was very efficient. The bigger problem was that CPU’s had no way to ‘make Flash run faster’ like they do with some other programs.

Bull. That whole ‘secure boot’ thing was meant to keep malicious bootloaders from being installed on people’s machines that are hard to impossible to remove.

It is very easy to get a signed key from Microsoft for secure boot and UEFI, if you are certain organizations you do not even have to pay!
