If someone is not interested in buying a specific movie on dvd or blue ray then that person is not going to benefit the movie company anyways and if someone chooses not to go to the cinema to watch a specific movie its going to earn the movie company any money. And if a movie really interests a person they will choose to goto the cinemas even if the movie is readily available for download or a cracked copy falls into the hands of that person.

So my point is at the end of the day a person who is not interested enough to buy or watch a specific movie will not have any negative loss or financial effect on the company if they were to find a pirated copy of that movie and if the movie was of particular interest to a person they would still support the movie company by going to the cinemas and purchasing a blue ray copy even if they had a pirated version. Am I wrong?
