But that’s for sure an opinion of mine. Of course the net currently is crowded with crap-loads of fellows whose sole purpose is to control every single thing but it’s also the ones whose voice is the most heard. There are even more quiet people around who, given power one day, have much more influence. So I definitely don’t think the net has lived its last minutes.

That said I also think it’s time for a more volatile and decentralized network. Something that we would run collectively, just like you wrote.
