Precisely. If ppl do it together the slow changes may become fast. See middle-east protests. It might be a painful process but it surely pays off in the end. The problem is, how can one stand up and speak alone? Ppl will not support and that lone voice will be silenced. I guess ppl have become too used to their peaceful petty lives…

I hate seeing the young and naive type ‘write your local politician’.
Or worse, ‘…so next time vote Republican or those pesky Dem’s will do it again’.

There is no representation. Nobody speaks for you. Politicians laugh at your petitions.
No one party will best the other. The system is designed to be infallible in terms of change, and all ‘western’ systems are designed so new parties take a long long time to gain ground.
Not to mention the advisory boards, the specialists, lobbyists, judges, under-secretaries, industrialists and quangos designed and vying to prevent change and increase power and profit.
Who is responsible for the madness of this big round prison cell? Who will fix the injustice and oppression, the hopeless filthy humanity of it all?
ALL are individually innocent, collectively, the evil empire. A banker only took a bit of your bread, this politician a bit of your ‘rights’, little by little, little by little….
I’m in the mood now to shoot any qunt in a suit, righteous holy robes , a boardroom, a parliament, fcking anything.
It might not change anything, but if we can’t change this place I can’t take this place.

I think the real problem in the U.S. is that the lobbists have gotten a grip around their balls (considering that the entertainment industry is one of the largest donars to political parties), and the lack of an open ballot (you have the choice to vote for the Demofags or Republifags, but you only have one independent canidate to vote for when both sides sucks, and the indie guy always loses because he suffers from wasted vote syndrome).

If we can just make aware where politicans get their money from, and let “just anybody” run for office, we can take one step forward to putting the content mafia on a leash and stop it’s abuse of the system.
