By making your stories available for free on the internet you are in no position to moan about loss of (potential) income being as you have authorised making it available for free on websites.

I am not denying the originator income as they still have their work to sell if they wish.

If you are an emploee working for a company then your work that you do belongs to the company as they are the ones that pay your wages for you time and work which is a contract with them. If someone were to hire me for work I would make sure that they have a signed a contract to ensure that payment would be paid by them to me so they wouldn’t be able to get away without paying me anyway.

You are denying the originator income as you’re refusing to pay them for their work and also making it available to others so they don’t have to pay for it. The problem is your attitude in justifying this refusal to pay a fair price for a fair product is just as bad, and in a way worse, as that of RIAA and MPAA wanting to be paid outrageous amounts for what little they give.

As to how you manage it, the people putting the material up or sending copies about without permission are the only ones that should be pursued on this issue.
