Why did this company lose its status?

The article gave a few possibilities.

What ramifications does this have on the strikes policy & implementation?

They can’t do anything until they get their status back and there’s the possibility that all their actions until now are void since they were done without a license and this can lead to fines or a trip to court.

Even if they renew their license now, there’s still this possibility.
