Hmm, the articles on a site called Torrentfreak say that torrenting aids sales. No implicit bias there, no sir. I’m sure they’re the perfect source of unbiased information.

People are allowed to have opinions about what is good or not. Not everything is good to everyone. Classification is part of the human experience. It is a necessary part of human experience. And let me also say this; the concept of music is a human creation (or an animal creation, if you want to point out that certain animals enjoy certain sounds, but that’s irrelevant), and it is by nature a classification of sound. All music is noise, but not all noise. They are not equal, and to think that they can be called so because the difference has to be recognized by humans is the stuff of a first-year philosophy students who like to sound intelligent but who really know little.

I really don’t understand all the haters. If you don’t like him fine, but just live and let live. I don’t like Justin Bieber’s music but you won’t find me actively hating him because that’s just fucking silly. Yes, I do enjoy Skrillex’s music but I also like more traditional dubstep, especially the older, more garage-like sound. In fact, I’ll listen to pretty much anything from commercial to underground if I enjoy it and to hell with all this hipster-esque “sell out” and “corporate” crap.
