Ender: Not true. There most definitely IS criminal copyright infringement, and has been for decades. See 17 USC 506.

The issue is that felony copyright infringement only covers copying and duplication. If you’re infringing on the public performance rights, then the most you can ever get is a criminal misdemeanor charge.

Which is probably what he pleaded guilty to.

The actual naturalization process takes anywhere from 6-9 months
depending on your local office. But before that, you need to be a legal,
permanent resident of the United States for at least 3-5 years (3 yrs
if you’re married to a US citizen; 5 years if you’re not).
