If you want to be an artist, you should be an artist because you like to produce art, you like to produce music. If your primary goal is to make money, then you should pick another career. Art is of zero value in and of itself. There is only value in art, if it does what it’s supposed to do; inspire and affect people in different ways. Art has never been about making money until recent times. It has always been about communicating an idea.

Take the great composers for example, bach, mozart, beethoven. Did they do it for the money you think? No, they did it because they had something to say, and they said it through their art.

I was hoping this could be used for some kind of distributed load balancing for websites, so that visitors to a page could download off other current visitors.
That would almost make increasingly powerful servers redundant, no matter how many visitors you had.

But if any visitor can also see all the other visitors IP for any page, that would be a NSA wet-dream, and useless for any practical application outside of North Korea.

Only those you open a peer connection with are getting your public ip, which is the case ofcourse in any p2p technology.
But if peer A isn’t connected to peer B, even if they are in the same swarm, they won’t know about each other
