Man of Steel and Iron Man 3 were both worth the price of admission — and then some. I happened to see Man of Steel the week before the NSA revelatios hit the press, so the final scene was prescient for me. Looking forward to Lone Ranger — Johnny Depp is dead-on with his deadpan delivery, stoic (screen) personality in the trailers. It hits local theaters July 3.

At this point in time, I am hooked on Iron Man, willing to get give another Man of Steel episode a look-see and hoping that Lone Ranger will join their ranks (keeping in mind that there are a LOT of tv episodes to reprise / concatenate).

BTW … I get the senior citizen discount (basically the matinee price all day) which tells me that this could be the price all day for everyone.

I’ve seen the entire Iron Man series thus far and plan to buy them on DVD/BR because they are worth viewing again. I’ll do the same with Man of Steel and probably do it with Lone Ranger. I do NOT mind paying for good, solidly acted and directed, entertainment which does not dig too deeply in the trashpile of misplaced moral compasses. I do oppose, vehemently, paying for mediocre stories fleshed out with violence and gross immorality … I simply won’t do it. I’ve seen one “Fast and Furious” — I won’t need to see the others.
