But they refuse to which is the sole reason why they currently don’t see a dime from me.

No doubt the copyright maximalists will defend this behavior, maybe even provide an excuse to justify it, but at the end of the day the simple fact of the matter is that they don’t cater to consumer demand and are paying for this as a result.

There is a list as long as my arm as to why I no longer visit the theater and free downloads has never been one of them. It’s a new world with new expectations and instead of adapting to this new reality, they’ve chosen to spit on it. It’s hard to feel sorry for anyone who does that no matter what business they’re in.
