The first was The Woman in Black where it is nice to see the return of the British Hammer horror films. This is a very nice movie if you like the creepy ghost like suspense mystery set in the English countryside and swampland.

I did see two events not quite right but only minor. The first is that people would not say their destination is simply the North West but to provide a map location. Then second offering someone what they call “silver coins” is bizarre when silver is too weak and costly for general use and currency usually comes with a name. Beyond that a very nice creepy movie with a different ending.

My second movie was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I have been meaning to watch that for ages but always thought a girls movie. I was sure wrong it that estimate being some post 2000 punk-gothic Nazi murder mystery with a fucked up sexual theme. I saw no obvious issues there so enjoy.
