That Ori and Goa'uld stuff in SG got old and boring pretty fast. They are exploring different planets after all, they are bound to meet many different people and thus many different stories take place.
If you want one plotline dragged through several seasons, I suggest you watch Lost instead.

I'm sad to see SGA go :(
